Traditional building methods require you to be present on two fronts - as a client of your architect and your builder, and as a mediator between the two. Often plans are drawn up far ahead of the bidding process and the finished building can often be very different from the one designed by the architect. This requires you to keep a close watch on your budget and diffuse any issues that may arise as you go from the planning stage to the construction phase. This process can be time-consuming and can ultimately push your completion date out farther than you intended.

By contrast, working with a company that offers Design/Build as an option can streamline the process. The Design/Build approach differs from the traditional building method of awarding contracts separately for design and construction. The owner contracts directly with Wink Construction, and Wink's Design/Build Team assumes the design responsibility for the owner, in addition to providing construction services. In other words, you contract with Wink, and the Wink Team assumes all responsibility for the project.
